The aim of the University Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering - Sustainable Construction (GCCD) is to train, in 3 years, professionals who will work in all sectors of construction: from foundations to structures and technical equipment, from the stability of constructions to questions of thermal, acoustic and visual comfort, from the choice of materials to the definition of construction techniques, from earthworks to road development or engineering structures.
Thanks to their strong technological skills and their knowledge of project management, these senior technicians can be immediately operational in building and public works companies, in design or methods offices, or in the technical departments of local authorities.
The Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction department opened its doors in Marseille in September 2021 with a main course entitled "Building Works", which corresponds to a multi-purpose course providing the blocks of skills common to all construction trades.
The BUT GCCD is available as an apprenticeship from the first year.

For periods of mobility, the company has the possibility of "putting the work-study student's employment contract on hold" for a limited and predetermined period corresponding to the duration of his or her training within a partner company or university or a host organisation located abroad.
