The aim of this formation is to train future managers to work in companies in the aeronautics industry in the fields of research and development, design, production, marketing and sales;the aim of the course is to train future managers to work in companies in the aeronautics industry in the fields of research and development, design, production, maintenance and dismantling. They will be apprenticed for their managerial skills and their skills in exploiting 4.0 digital tools in industrial practices.

The vocation of these professionals will be to analyse, design, pilot and improve the industrial processes of the aeronautics industry, taking into account their economic, environmental and social challenges. They will be made aware of the challenges of the industry of the future and will be able to lead innovative and collaborative industrial transformation projects centred around digitalisation.
Their skills are based on in-depth learning of aircraft technology, the appropriation of 4.0 technologies with an aeronautical application, as well as project management techniques.
Located on the Gap-Tallard airfield with its ecosystem of aeronautical SMEs, Polyaéro is a training center dedicated to the aeronautics of the future, serving French and international industries. The course is open to a maximum of 24 students in Masters 1 and 2.
- Apprenticeship
The course is an apprenticeship in companies in the aeronautical industry (aircraft operators, MROs, systems manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, tier 1 service providers, major principals, etc.).
In master 1, candidates will be 14 weeks à the IUT and 38 weeks in a company.
In Master 2, candidates will be 12 weeks à l'IUT and 40 weeks in a company.
- Mobility
An international period may be organised with the company.
- Professional projects
In Master 1, an in-company improvement project is carried out. Its purpose is to provide organisational and technological solutions to a problem identified with the company where the work-study placement is taking place
In Master 2, based on a specification, the aim is to propose a technological and digital advance that optimises the implementation parameters (performance, project steering methods, risk management, etc.).

Cross-disciplinary activities enable candidates to use the latest technological, aeronautical and digital devices (tensile strength, additive manufacturing, engine test bench and wind tunnel, Catia 3DS, ....), to mobilise the knowledge acquired à on the Polyaéro site (Gap-Tallard aérodrome) and in companies.
