The Mechanical and Production Engineering BUT (GMP) is aimed at students interested in engineering sciences, design, production and new technologies. At the end of the first two years, students who have met the evaluation criteria obtain a DUT, and at the end of the third year, the BUT is awarded.
• to develop students' skills in product development through the application of modern industrial design and production techniques
• foster the development of their thinking skills through the use of scientific and technical tools
• stimulate their spirit of initiative and teamwork through training in human sciences and communication

The students of the SNRV course of the BUT GMP carry out the second year of BUT GMP in initial training and the third year of BUT GMP in apprenticeship with an alternation of about 1 month in training and 1 month in the company.

- Recruitment via Parcoursup
- For sandwich courses, candidates must first have met the admission criteria on file via Parcoursup. The search for a host company is the initiative of the future apprentice, and is essential for validation of the registration. The GMP department can however propose a list of companies likely to be interested in the apprenticeship.

Candidate profile
50% of the places for holders of a baccalaureate with a scientific background:Maths, Engineering Sciences, Physics-Chemistry, Numerics and Computer Sciences
50% of places for holders of the STI2D baccalaureate.
The selection is made on the basis of the academic record of the first and last years (grades and teacher's appraisals).
