The Administrative and Commercial Management of Organisations -(GACO) BUT reconciles commercial and management studies by integrating the issues of social and environmental responsibility (CSR), and sustainable development in the business world;The course is based on the study of business and management, integrating the issues of social and environmental responsibility (SER) and sustainable development in the business world, encouraging the emergence of new profiles of business creators and managers adapted to the professional challenges of today and tomorrow.
Students receive a multi-faceted training in management, accounting, commerce, marketing, sales, organisation, management, communication, human resources, but also in business creation and responsible entrepreneurship. The participation of professionals in the training is an undeniable asset.
Through a transversal approach to the business world, the BUT GACO allows students to:
- understand the business environment (economy, law, sustainable development)
- understand the tools of management (financial analysis, management control, management, HRM, logistics), commerce (marketing, sales, purchasing, negotiation) and written and oral communication

How are the studies organized?
The GACO University Bachelor of Technology course in Project and Organisation Management takes place over 3 academic years.
The students have lectures (60 students), tutorials (30 students), and practical work (15 students) over 6 semesters. They do internships in companies for a duration of 13 weeks. The alternation is proposed in the 3rd year. The evaluation is done by continuous assessment (no final exam). It is possible to do a semester in Scotland or Canada. Internships abroad are encouraged.
The department promotes innovative learning using serious games and collective intelligence group work.

Objectives of the pathway
The Bachelor Administrative and Commercial Management of Organisations is a versatile training in management, accounting, commerce, marketing, sales, organisation, management, communication and human resources with an opening onto business creation and responsible entrepreneurship. Numerous partnerships bring openness and dynamism to the Digne-les-Bains GACO department.
At Digne-les-Bains, the Project and Organisation Management course is offered: this course combines business and management studies. It integrates the issues of social and environmental responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development in the business world.
The course is designed to be a cross-disciplinary approach to the management of projects and organisations.
Through a transversal approach to the business world, the BUT GACO enables students to:
