The BUT Chemical Engineering Process Engineering trains senior technicians, direct collaborators of the engineer or researcher, specialists in the processes and bioprocesses of the industry;They are specialists in processes and bioprocesses from the laboratory to the industrial level.The graduate is capable of designing, sizing and managing installations or production units in material and energy transformation processes.

How are the studies organized?
Each class has a maximum of 70 students. The BUT GCGP includes 2000 h of teaching spread over 6 semesters (3 years). The students will have to provide a significant amount of personal work, in particular for their personalized personal project (PPP) and their tutorial project. The internship periods are between 22 and 26 weeks.

Objectifs du parcours
The course « Process Design and Technological Innovation »allows graduates to enter in particular in design offices or research-dévelopment departments. Graduates participate in the design, development and sizing of new clean and safe processes or in the transformation of existing processes; the transformation of existing processes in order, in particular, to limit their energy consumption and to promote the recycling of raw materials. They work as process management technicians, research and development technicians, study managers, SIP preparation technicians and process development technicians.

Objectifs du parcours
The course « Contrôle, Pilotage et Optimisation des Procés »allows the graduates to get involved in the production units of the industries mentioned above. They manage and control automated production workshops in order to optimise their operation and guarantee the quality of the products, taking care of safety and the environment and limiting the consumption of resources (raw materials and energy). Graduates of this course work as production technicians, process technicians or foremen in industry.
