This professional degree provides training in the control of industrial sites. The operation of these sites requires the services of an inspector for the protection of goods and people and the supervision of pressure equipment. The inspector's job is carried out in companies, service companies, design offices and engineering firms;engineering, and varies according to the sector (nuclear, chemical, petrochemical...), the type of process and products manufactured or stored.

How are the studies organized?
The Professional Licence is organised in a skills-based approach. It is accessible in alternating training with a minimum of 22 weeks in a company and 18 weeks at the IUT (professionalization contract of 10 months minimum), in VAE and in continuous training. The teaching programme is 450 hours for teaching and 150 hours for the tutor project.

They will be able to
- Contribute to the development of an inspection plan for Pressure Equipment (PSE) using the fundamental scientific tools
- Conduct surveillance activity during construction of PHEs and their monitoring in service
- Constructing PSEs taking into account degradation modes and using appropriate Non Destructive Testing (NDT) methods
- Establish the inspection plans of the ESPs of the site in compliance with the legislation and the rules of Hygiene, Safety, Environment and Inspection (HSE)

The selection of the candidates is done on file and individual interview of holders of secondary BAC+2: DUT GMP, GIM, SGM, MP, GCGP, HSE, BTS CRCI, CM, MI, CPI, IPM, ATI, L2 or equivalent level recognized by the Commission of Validation of Acquired Skills.
