On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, the GACO department hosted an ecological event organized as part of the tutored projects of several groups of first and second year students. This afternoon on the theme of sustainable development allowed students to learn about eco-gestures through various workshops in a friendly atmosphere.
The association Energ'éthique 04 gave them advice on how to reduce their energy consumption, with a demonstration. Gesper promoted a Zero Waste lifestyle (composting, Gourmet Bag). Outside, the Sydevom proposed an animation on waste sorting, a demonstration of bicycle repair was given by the Second Cycles association and the Prévention Routière raised awareness on the good behaviour to adopt in order to use non-polluting means of transport (scooter, pedestrians) in complete safety.
The students proposed several tutored projects: a photo contest rewarding the best eco-gesture, the creation of a board game on the theme of water and a DIY workshop to learn how to make toothpaste, a hair mask and cleaning products with natural ingredients. This very successful day, which ended with an organic and local snack offered by the Biocoop of Digne, will encourage the students to become more eco-friendly!
