On Friday, July 8 at 10:00 am was inaugurated the new test hall in Bio-Inspired Design at the IUT of Aix-Marseille, site of Aix-en-Provence, in the presence of Eric BERTON, President of the University of Aix-Marseille.
In this test hall, in a stabilized environment with a high level of work safety, ISM teams use high-tech equipment to test and control bio-inspired mechanical solutions: metal and ceramic additive manufacturing, X-ray diffraction, and digitization of biological forms.
This work has been carried out in synergy with a research chair between Airbus Helicopters and Aix-Marseille University.
