Within the framework of a combination of 4 SAE (learning and evaluation situation) the students of BUT1 Social Careers - Sustainable Cities and Territories, went to the city hall of Aix-en-Provence in order to present their urban planning projects.
The city of Aix-en-Provence published a call for projects concerning a reflection on 6 school squares in 6 sectors of the city of Aix-en-Provence. Antoine Benhamias, Claire Fonticelli, Gilles Jacoulet and Mikaéla Le Meur, teachers from the CS-VTD department, supervised the students for several months. They carried out observations and then established territorial diagnoses that led to proposals for the development of these squares. This work allowed the mobilization of skills: the analysis of the population, the consultation with the actors, the diagnosis of territory and the project in transition.
The students brilliantly presented their projects in front of their teachers, as well as Eric Chevalier, Deputy Mayor, Cyrille Girard, Head of the General and Prospective Studies Department and Elise Trivelly, Sustainable Development and Strategies Officer.
