This university degree aims to :

  • train professionals (employers, members of the CSE/CHSCT, human resources personnel or health personnel) involved in the action and prevention of occupational risks,
  • to transmit complementary and specialized knowledge at the crossroads of health, man and work from a presentation of theoretical models and a multidisciplinary approach integrating the physiological, psycho-ergonomic and legal dimensions
  • to expose the consequences of occupational risks on the health and safety of workers and the preventive actions likely to remedy them

  • How are the studies organized?

    The courses are divided into 6 units. Compulsory attendance is one of the criteria used to authorize students to take the exams. A single exam session is organized at the end of each UE.

    UE1 - Legal aspects in P.R.P. (4 days - 28 hours)

    • Regulatory bases in H.S.E. & P.R.P.
    • Legal and regulatory obligations (Labor Code and jurisprudence, legal watch)
    • Authorizations and exemptions
    • Reforms of the legislation on health at work

    Examination methods: Oral and written tests, continuous assessment (written test to evaluate knowledge)

    UE2 - P.R.P. in Health and Safety at work (4 days - 28 hours)

    • The situation of the company with regard to risk prevention
    • The internal and external actors of prevention: distribution of competences/responsibilities...
    • Risks to people's health
    • Measures for the prevention of professional risks
    • Addictive behaviors, disability and aging
    • The semantics and the basic national models concerning the AT and the MP / Professional risks AT/MP

    Examination methods: Oral and written tests, continuous assessment (written test to evaluate knowledge)

    UE3 - Risk assessment (4 days - 28 hours)

    • Fundamental principles of risk assessment
    • Evaluation methods: frequency/severity rating: Metrology of environmental factors
    • Analysis and evaluation of biological, chemical and toxicological risks
    • Data processing and formalization of results (Company and safety data sheets, Single document)

    Examination methods: Oral and written tests, Continuous assessment (practical test of metrology)

    UE4 - Painfulness & Psychosocial risks (4 days - 28 hours)

    Examination methods: Oral and written tests, Continuous assessment (written test on a case study)

    UE5 - Analysis of work in a real situation (4 days - 28 hours)

    Examination methods: Oral test with dissertation, Continuous assessment (Writing and presentation of a dissertation)

    UE 6 - Management of risks related to physical activity (2 days - 14h)

    Examination method : Oral test, Continuous assessment (Written test to evaluate knowledge and case study)

    This unit enables candidates to acquire specific skills in the prevention of risks related to physical activity: for example, it deals with the problems of carrying loads or handling. Historically, this subject was addressed by preventionists within the framework of "Gestures and postures" training, essentially focused on "ideal" practices. These have largely evolved over the last few years, notably under the impetus of the INRS, to move towards the development of in situ and contextualized training in order to take into account the specific constraints linked to real working conditions in order to adopt adapted body strategies.

    This training does not include any practical training or tutored project.

    Study of a job in a real situation in order to implement :

    • the psycho-ergonomic approach of the man at work,
    • the methodology of ergonomic analysis of work,
    • the tools for collecting and formalizing field data,
    • the animation of a participative approach and support to change,
    • the elaboration of recommendations for the improvement of working conditions, and leading to the writing and defense of a thesis.

    • Approaches and concepts of the Human Factor and working conditions

    • Prevention approaches

Profile of the candidates

Prevention actors: HR function, preventionists, designated "protection & prevention" referents, occupational social assistants, risk managers, safety technicians, occupational hygienists, etc., who wish to complete their training and have at least a baccalaureate.
